Back-to-school sales tax holiday set

The island Treasury Department has scheduled the annual “back-to-school” sales tax holiday for mid July.
The three-day tax holiday will kick off Friday, July 13 and extend until midnight on Sunday, July 15.
The law establishing the tax holiday exempts certain back-to-school items from the 7 percent sales tax including clothing, computers, computer programs, school supplies and textbooks.
